INDEX STOCK IMAGERY FORMS NEW AGENT ALLLIANCE IN SLOVENIA WITH BUENOS DIAS
NEW YORK, July 2005 - Index Stock Imagery, www.indexstock.com, is pleased to announce a new agent alliance with Buenos Dias in Slovenia. Index’s images will be represented along with a wide-ranging lineup of other Rights Managed and Royalty Free image collections. Buenos Dias will represent both Index’s Rights Managed and Royalty Free collections, and its new RF subscription product, Index Open.
Beno Patafta is General Manager of Buenos Dias slikovna agencija d.o.o. Beno tells us that, “Slovenia is the most developed country from all former Yugoslavian countries, and has the best economic index of all the eastern European countries. It has been part of the European Community since 2004 and a member of NATO since 2003.” He also adds: “We look forward to representing Index’ robust collection.”
Buenos Dias was started in 1995 as an independent agency with three suppliers - Telegraph Colour Library, FPG and Liaison. Each year it has grown 20% to 30%, and in 1997 started to develop its Web site. Buenos Dias works with over 300 customers in Slovenia and Croatia, and is considered to be the number one stock agency in its territory.
Beno gives us some history of the area: “In the last 14 years of transition, the market has developed constantly on the model of the western market economy. With foreign enterprises coming to the market, competition is growing. The image business is growing also as all the big advertising agencies are in Slovenia, and the number of publishers is increasing each year. Croatia is not as developed but Buenos Dias has acquired many good customers there, and is very popular in that country. Our staff also includes Grega Narobe as Sales Manager, and Christopher Urban as Procurist.”
